I will own this game again, but I can't have it now while I am moving and have no shop space.

Sold

This unit was sold to Scott Barrett in Los Angeles for $1000.

Valley North American

Valley North American managed to drive something into the cabinet. The back panel was forced into the cabinet hard enough to break the wooden support rails and drop into the cabinet. Monitor no longer works! I can't be sure if the neck was damaged in the push in or if the 120 Fahrenheit July heat in Arizona just cooked it.

The game still plays as before, sounds not perfect but the controls respond. Just plays blind now. Amazingly did not loose any light bulbs.

On Hold

No more work on this or any game until after the move to AZ.
|

Getting In

I drilled out the lock to get a look inside for obvious issues with the sound like a quarter laying on the PCB or something. It is clean and beautiful inside. No quarters though.
|

Burn Test

Test the game. I got it to my basement workshop, plugged it in and turned it on. The first success: it works. Game plays fine.
The sound has some issues. There are some missing samples and some crackles normal to this MCR power machine.
The monitor is sharp, but takes some time to warm up and establish vertical hold. A cap kit is in the near future.

Acquisition

John acquired several of theses rare gems and I had to have one. After months of missed opportunities, bad weather and other delays the Environmental Discs of Tron arrived in my shop. It is working and is in excellent condition.
