Sound Correction

I diagnosed the sound board problem and fixed it right up, everything is great now.
|

Assembly

I put it all back together with a monitor picked up from Norm. It works but the sound is not right.
|

More Paint

Side 2 is painted and my wife did some excellent and artistic touch up on the lettering.
|

Paint

Side one is painted. Looks awesome. Side two is masked and ready for next week.
|

Prepare Cabinet

We patched and rebuilt the cabinet as needed. I painted the black black again and we installed the floor mat. We sanded and masked the first side for painting.
|

Tear Down

After months of nagging from the party guests, I convinced Rick to help me strip the cabinet and begin work on the wood and paint. We cleared it out in one night.

It needs a little fill in spots and some touch up paint and a new floor mat. It will look great.

The internals do not work! Tested the monitor it is dead. It's another G07-CAO that I will be getting fixed.
|

Burn Test

Test the game. I got it to my basement workshop, plugged it in and turned it on. The game seems to work, the monitor is dead, but I hear the starting sounds and crash sound made after a successful boot.
|

Acquisition

I wanted the cockpit version of Pole Position. I was emboldened by my previous restoration. What else could go wrong?

The cabinet is solid (B) and the artwork is good (A). I paid $200 for the machine and carted it home.
