We put the components together and let it run overnight, it worked in the morning. Then we reassembled the game and touched the paint.

Monitor Repair

Monitors are finally repaired and ready to install. Finding a vector repair guy is difficult and usually requires high fees or plenty of patience.

Monitor Swap

We tore down the game to get at the parts. I do this with most restores. It lets you find stuff you don't see and clean it. It make testing components easier. It allows you to swap components with less effort.
We swapped monitors with an Asteroids Deluxe we bought at the same time. The board on the monitor shot flames! One of the resistors couldn't resist and burned violently. Now we need a monitor repair. Wait, we swapped because the other one didn't work, make that 2 monitor repairs!

Acquisition

Kevin and I went in on a bulk buy from Quarter Arcade. We rented a truck and traveled to Philadelphia to pick up some games. We finally wrangled 8 of them on to the truck.
