Game Story

I was searching for a Space Invaders since 2003. Never found a nice unit or even a bad working unit. Suddenly I was picking up parts and whole games in multiple game deals. I would earn myself a game and sell the rest.

Best Laid Plans, yes, I sold it.

Keeper (for years)

This one was a nice cabinet and control panel. I had to swap many things out of Cabinet 8685 to make it compete. It is mine now. I am keeping it!

(Update) I kept it for many years. I found a buyer and a really great price, so off it goes. Now to search for a new Keeper.

Second Best

This unit was complete, solid and everything but the board was working. I had the board repaired and cleaned it well. Sold a few weeks later.

Production Notes

One of the most often hacked, copied and bootlegged games of all time. Incredibly popular and profitable title. Taito version caused a Yen coin shortage in Japan.
