We picked up 4 games at Vidiot for a Day 2011. Clowns was one of the 8080 games we got in the lot. Sides were beautiful, Marquee was beautiful but the game did not start and the controls were half shot.

Clowns was released in 1978 by Midway. It features a monochrome raster display with a horizontal orientation. Color is achieved with gel overlays.

This game is built on the Midway 8080 hardware platform. Common features a Z80 CPU on a mother board. The motherboard accepts different daughterboards for different titles. A bank of ROMs reside on the motherboard and must also be changed to change the title.

Appear to be a clone of Exidy’s Circus and resembles Midway’s Space Walk.
This is a Midway 8080 game. Many titles were released from 1975 -1980 on essentially the same hardware. In this case, Space Walk was likely the same game with different graphics.
