Game Story
First Restoration
I wanted to fix a busted game. I searched the newsgroups and eBay for victim. I found a KLAX Conversion in New Jersey for the right price. It was a low risk game with high rewards for me. I am a fan of the Motorola 68000 processor and an Amiga fan. This game was one of the first Atari games to run the 68000 and was developed on an Amiga, then ported to the custom hardware.
This was also my first Restoration bLog. I posted most of my moves and opinions for this game. That started this site and “back publishing” of my other arcade restoration work.

Dedicated
KLAX was a huge Conversion success. Atari made a few dedicated machines and now I have one. I went to Vidiot for a Day 2013 and stopped in at Robot City Games to see Casey. I was all set to buy Satan’s Hollow when I saw KLAX looking good and clean and dedicated. Changed my plans right then.

Mostly offered as a Conversion Kit but a few dedicated upright cabinets were made. Several cabaret cabinets are out there but they either shared a design with Tetris or were all conversions.
The high percentage of conversion kits may make the Controls table inaccurate.
