We sent the board out for repair. It took some time until it came back to us.

The controls on clowns are simple. Each player gets a knob (potentiometer) that moves their see saw into position for the landing clown. Player 2’s potentiometer was failing so the see saw did not move the whole way across the screen.

We searched for it and ordered a replacement. Finally arrived and we installed it. Clowns is a working game.

Like so many games we acquire this one lacked locks and a back door. David cut and shaped a board, I painted it and we drilled the lock holder.

We picked up 4 games at Vidiot for a Day 2011. Clowns was one of the 8080 games we got in the lot. SIdes were beautiful, Marquee was beautiful but the game did not start and the controls were half shot.
